How weird are the people in your church?
I used to go to a non-denominational Christian church. Here are some of the people I met.
Troy – An ex-man prostitute. always bragged about his sexual conquests. He drives an old beat up van and frequently takes some members of the youth group to the liquor store to get some smokes. Somehow Troy got a hold of the bed frames used in the Heaven’s Gate mass suicide (yes, the cult who cut off their genitals while wearing Nike shoes during Hale Bopp).
Max – Big overweight guy who never combs his hair. He also looks like he just woke up. He frequently goes to the church kitchen to look for munchies in the fridge. Occasionally, he will find a stick of butter and melt the entire thing for his popcorn. He also keeps mumbling how he wants to convert to Buddhism.
Brian – the pastor. He preaches as if there is no such thing as vice or sin. He is married but seems like someone who has never had a girlfriend in his life. He also gets his holy water from the bathroom sink.
wow, I go to church with my girlfriend to make her happy, but they do this thing called speeking in tongues and it scares the hell out of me, they act like they are having heart attacks! Also they all say they talk to the holy spirit, and I’m really freaked out. They say all this bullshit about how thwy talk to God and stuff. Don’t tell my girlfried!
