Ok- I grew up in the South, but was a late converter to Rainbows Sandals. I really hated flipflops and feeling anything in-between my toes. Finally, after moving to Chicago, I caved in and bought my first pair. They are amazing! I can’t even feel the straps! The arch support is amazing in these things! I wish I lived at the beach again so I could wear them year round!
I love all the new colors they offer, and am dying for a pair with diamonds! My sister and quite a few friends have ditched the bridal shoes on their wedding day for Rainbows Sandals because of comfort and style.
Yes, you could try on someone elses and see if you like it, but the entire selling point of these bad boys is the way it conforms to your foot. They take a few days to break in, but once you do, they are yours for life! (no really, they have a warranty!!)

These are terrific Rainbow sandals. They take a few wearings to conform to your feet. Once they do, you’ll never want to wear anything else!
The 302 Rainbow Sandals have an extra foam layer that absorbs the trauma of asphalt, concrete and the pebble strewn sidewalks. Great Shoes, but do NOT get them wet.
I have had two pairs of rainbows, and they are magnificent. They are the most comfortable flip-flops I have ever owned, and they match with everything. However, do not wear them in the rain, or to the pool, or to the beach etc. because if they get wet and you walk around in them they will dye the bottom of your feet orange.
