Has anyone had a destination wedding at the Sandals resort in the Bahamas?

I want to have a destination wedding at Sandals in the Bahamas and I was wondering if you guys could tell me your experiences on that, good and bad. Also tell me the things that you might have changed for your wedding and if you bought any special wedding packages. Also, please leave a contact so I could ask questions.

I have high school friend who got married there, but I didn’t atend. They said it was beautiful, but a little on the expensive side.

Oh, they also suggested, since this last year, don’t have a wedding there between the months of June and November due to hurricane season and all. Nothing worse than being stuck on a small island when 200 mph winds come across to ruin your beautiful day. I live in Louisiana, and just survived a hurricane, so its not anything to mess with…GL;)
